The Asia Pacific Furniture Fair (APFF) began, with support from the Singapore Furniture Association, as an idea of having furniture and furnishing products from global brands all brought together, and one-stop exhibition space for consumers to visit, to take inspirations homes, or as a convenient solution towards getting all the necessities all at once.

This concept has since been altered over the years, and various similar fairs sprouted out either under the wings of the APFF’s Organising Committee, or by separate organisers altogether and consumers have come to learn and know of these fairs as the go-to for interior and renovation ideas.
Unlike fairs in the similar sector and held repeatedly throughout the year, the official APFF is an annually held event, and an inaugural session of Lion Dance is usually held to mark the opening of the fair, in hope to bless the exhibition and all its exhibitors a great success. This year’s opening ceremony was no different.

What marked the difference in this year’s fair from the past was the first joint-association between Singapore Furniture Association and Singapore Renovation Contractors and Material Suppliers Association (RCMA). RCMA aided in bringing assurance to consumers, by bringing in CaseTrust Accredited member-firms into the fair.
Aside from a strong support from the Interior Design and Renovation Firms that were members to RCMA, globally known furniture and mattress brands were supportive as well, and participated too, bringing in tantalizing deals and elegant product pieces that were chosen with care specifically for the fair’s visitors.
Not to forget advertising & promotional efforts rolled out for this official event, like for instance– going digital on marketing efforts and spreading smiles with the new theme, thanking visitors for their visits with joyfully coloured goodie bags, introducing some fun in drawing of prizes by taking a chance on the huge digital jackpot, and so on. Some lucky customers even managed to walk away with our Grand Prizes for the fair.

All in all, it was a fair that was well-received, with genuine support from consumers and exhibitors alike, and we’ve even received comments on asking when would the next such fair be held. We are, too, anticipating for the next fair to materialise.
